COVID-19 Update
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. By entering the theatre, you agree to assume this risk.
Until further notice, masks are optional but strongly encouraged for all guests.
The Axelrod Performing Arts Center is committed to the safety and well-being of our patrons. In accordance with the New Jersey Theater Alliance, the standards of the Broadway theater community and Actors’ Equity Association and the latest CDC guidelines—the Axelrod staff will adhere to the following protocols and policies:
-
All surfaces in the theater, lobby and box office will be cleaned and disinfected before and between all performances.
-
The theater’s HVAC system has been upgraded to provide for maximum fresh-air ventilation utilizing the CDC-recommended MERV-13 filters, which are being replaced monthly (instead of every 3 to 4 months).
-
All ticket transactions will be contactless.
-
Programs will be available through a QR code. No physical programs will be distributed until further notice.
-
All tickets are exchangeable up to 24 hrs before the performance. Should you not be feeling well, please call the Box Office for a future ticket exchange.
-
The management will adhere to additional guidance of the CDC and other public health officials and adjust our protocols accordingly.
